A short post to mention two tracks that feature monsters in their brilliant videos, and make you feel happy to be alive like you do when you see great fireworks.

“Kids” was released in the mid-noughties and pretty much captures the sound and the mood of the decade, as far as I’m concerned. Anyone with the slightest exposure to club music would have heard it a billion times by now, but I only recently saw the video when I was checking to see if the song somehow resembled “Little Talks” by Of Mice and Men, as I’d suspected.
For me, both songs have a euphoric, gleeful vibe – hence the fireworks. Yet both manage to sound wise and a touch weary at the same time. That both tracks have monsters in the videos was a bonus similarity.
