Watching a bit of music TV the other day I was surprised to see The Wire‘s Stringer Bell running around a field that was very much not Baltimore – looked like the Scottish highlands but turned out to be Pembrokeshire – and to a fairly dreary indie soundtrack, rather than some bad-boy hip hop.

A quick Google revealed the song to be the new Mumford and Sons track, with the video not only starring Elba but written and directed by him. Curious, I Googled further. Am I the last one to find out that like McNulty on The Wire, Elba is British, and a DJ/promoter to boot?!
