I’ve changed my URL to Street-lit.com as part of the marketing strategy for my novels. Street Literature encompasses modern urban life: pop culture, music, fashion, slang, partying, ambition, creativity, despair… wracked by guilt for how far we’ve come from our natural roots. We treat animals like commodities and in winter we buy summer fruit from the other side of the world. Everything is made in China, but who are these Chinese people? How do they live? I read one electronics company had to put nets around its apartment building to cope with the suicides. Meanwhile, when we aren’t catapulting birds at green pigs we’re broadcasting the minutiae of our lives online. Scientists are colliding atoms in Europe, while priests are still bickering about the Bible and the Koran. Life is a maze of contradictions.
This is Street Lit.
